Biography
Dr. Abdul Juratli is a fellow to the Royal College of Surgeons of England; he carries the intercollegiate fellowship degree for the four Royal College of Surgeons of UK & Ireland affiliated to RCS England. Dr. Juratli trained at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne and Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham between 1990 and 1995. Dr. Juratli worked as a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester, UK. Leicester Royal Infirmary “LRI†for 12 years from the 5th of January 2004 until the 1st of May 2016. He was one of the lecturers and examiners in the final OSCE exam at Leicester Medical School. Dr. Juratli also worked as an Associate professor and examiner at Medical school of Damascus University and Al Moassat University Hospital between 1995 and 2003. Dr. Juratli is currently, and since May 2016, working at Al Zahra Private Hospital in Sharjah, UAE, and a regular speaker in International and local UAE Otolaryngology Conferences and a well-known interviewer in the Arabic media. He is a fellow to the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), and FPS-UK organization. His prime interest is functional and aesthetical Rhinoplasty and has two publications within the last 12 months in American journals about the classification of a twisted nose and nasal valve reconstruction. He operated on around 500 cases at NHS-UK with post-traumatic disfigured and dysfunctional noses.
